Played the #BurningWheel scenario The Sword today. It felt like a really well designed tutorial/intro to the system, perhaps smoothed somewhat by 3/4 of the players having already played at least a one shot before (The Heist).
@JoshuaACNewman we had a blast with it. The Fight mechanics really aren't anywhere near as intimidating as they look once you start playing with them.
@Bad_Quail The Sword was the first time I’d ever played Burning Wheel. It was deeply enjoyable.
I was laughing so hard by the end, my jaw hurt. We were describing our actions like the fight scene in Raising Arizona.
