So, this DM limits you to a small % of your starting wealth as adventuring gear, then ignores the upkeep costs, etc, as long as you stay within your spending class.
Issue with this: #GURPS makes tool kits STUPID expensive. Electronics repair kit? $1200. Armoury kit? $600, Mechanics? $600.
Guys, in this era a CAR was $260. *headdesk*
@Canageek The GURPS dollar is abstract, comparing to real prices in some era is silly. (I think it's roughly the earky-90s US dollar? Even that's rough though)
@keiyakins Need to convert it, so we can look up prices for stuff. I suspect my DM has worked out a conversion factor based on the prices. It makes buying a car or whatnot easier as you can quickly google ads from that era.

@Canageek (I'm sure the DM has a cost multiplier he is giving us, as the costs of items on the sheet I'm looking at don't track too closely with the ones in the book, so I'm sure this can be worked out)
