I love the premise of and it was an instant buy back in the day. It’s a game I’ve made dozens of characters for but have only ran twice, as most gamers then weren’t feeling it. One day, one day I’ll run a millennium spanning campaign of it.

@DHS I never quite got what the players were supposed to DO most of the time. What is the core activity?

@Mjack In short, it’s about seeking enlightenment through reincarnation with political and magical scheming, backstabbing, and it allows the GM to run the game all throughout history. But as all games, it really comes down to what the person running it wants it to be about.

@DHS Yeah, I have a bunch of stuff for it, but back when I read it I really couldn't figure out what a session would look like. I'd probably be able to better now.

@DHS After rereading two Tim Powers books, I need to look at this again.

@FredKiesche I feel a virtual game may happen one day if I have the bandwidth (which means not writing and just gaming).

@DHS [REDACTED] before fun. 😂
