If a Kickstarter [or insert other crowd source platform] uses the term 'transmedia'* then FFS DO NOT BACK IT !

Especially if it's the 1st project for the team/creator

It will be delayed, at best produce a weaksauce product, and at worse will fail entirely due to creative hubris

Either way you won't get your money's worth.

*transmedia = involving multiple media types: examples 'it's an MMO & Hardback ttrpg' or 'it's a tarot card system & a series of fiction novels!'
