**Non-Gaming **

Most of my non-RPG interests are and adjacent, including computer games, books, TV, and movies.

I described my politics as center-left before the right decided to worship at a T-shaped altar. I'm not an activist, but I stay engaged and exercise my right to vote.

I am married with one daughter, and work in for local city government. I live in Colorado, close enough to Denver to be part of the overall metro area.

** - Thoughts on Religion**

My religious beliefs can best be described as - I believe/hope that if you are a decent person, you are rewarded in an afterlife, but I don't think there's one specific path to get there. If you're a hardliner for either an organized religion or atheism, without the willingness to entertain the possibility of being wrong, we're not going to have much to talk about. The only thing I know for sure is that there are many mysteries out there.

**Miscellaneous Stuff**

I title most of my posts, so you know in advance what you're getting.

Problem authors - my favorite book series is the by , but I have to separate the author from the work. Likewise, I really enjoyed by , but I had to stop buying his books (explained in one of my past posts).

I'm too young to know everything, and too old to adjust quickly. Let me know about my mistakes, and I will try to do better.

@Fedifensor Dresden Files later books are particularly horrible to their female characters

After reading your comment, I looked up the Eddings

Holey Moley. I had not heard

Jings

@dampscot One can only hope they learned from their experience and had a change of heart - the writing career didn't take off until years later. Regardless, their work is now controlled by his alma mater, so their estate (if they even have one) does not profit from any sale of their works.
