Nothing eats at me like losing players. I had two players leave mid session.
Instant d/c and ghosted except for the message "looking for a different play style".
The two players had been with the party for months. Vibe felt good. Lost one player two weeks before then these latest two.
I've wracked my brain and notes but I can't find anything in particular that went wrong.
I'm left with two players now and I have a feeling they will bow out before next session.

That sucks. Shame they didn't raise the issue before quitting. It isn't too hard to adjust game sessions toward player desires (as long as everyone is on board) but communication is a prerequisite to that. Can accommodate more/less time for role play, more/less detail in description, refocus the narrative on politics or combat, etc. But unless you know what isn't working for who and ideally why, all you can do is wish the players luck in finding a table that better suits them
