@kioskwitch sleep, sleep, no sleep... no sleep, no sleep, sleep. No sleep.

I had a dream that I had to drive across the US to get to New York in order to GM an important Tabletop game. Hijinks occurred on my route. I needed to win a singing contest to get money to fix a tire. Later, I convinced a truck driver to transport my car so I could sleep and be headed towards my destination.
I was 4 hours away from New York when my cat woke me up by meowing in my face. On the one hand, I'm grateful that it wasn't real, on the other I kind of wanted to see the ending.
Fellow #dungeonsanddragons nerds.
If you could change one letter in a spell to effectively change the spell, what spell and what does it do now?
Astral Projection - Astral Protection, a shield of arcane energy surrounds me and the person attacking me need to make a check with DC 5+casting modifier (in the case of my druid it would be 8) to hit and I take half damage.
Beacon of Hope - Beacon of Nope.
Enemies in a 25ft radius makes a wisdom check against your spell save DC flees on a fail.
Starting to fall in love with Scum & Villainy (Blades in the Dark hack). Ran an entire 4 hour session improvised and it ran smooth and, best I can tell, as if I had planned the whole thing. The game's mechanics lend themselves perfectly towards improv play in a way I didn't think long form games could. I look forward to the next few months depicting the trials and adventures of the crew of the Tovarich.

My Oh My Caramel Macchiato Milk Stout from Red Hook might be the best stout I've had in recent memory. Usually places that try to add candy flavors end up making the drink taste much too sweet, but this one balances the caramel flavor against the natural dark chocolate notes of milk stout wonderfully. I'll definitely buy another pack of this for my next tabletop session.
There have been times where I have gotten on some real creative streaks and I start contemplating setting up some kind of patreon / kofi situation for the folks who end up enjoying the things I end up making. I always end up backing off though, because I can't help but feel that accepting money for things changes the dynamic of the way I do creative work, and I don't feel that my skill level is high enough to have "worth".
Maybe I'll actually follow through next time, see where things land.
