This is me weaving tons of #MegaDungeons into my #ShadowDark #sandbox #hexcrawl in CS2's Gloaming setting.
My PCs have no idea how deep so many of the places they stumble into will be! I am not letting them know before hand that I am using classic megadungeons with reskinning to fit my version of the Gloaming.
I ran lots of #5E for them pre and during pandemic & would often sculpt a story out of cool battlemaps I found that were typically 1-2 session things, so this will be new territory!
Obviously, they will not hit the majority of this stuff in one campaign. I am planning to run this for multiple games, and it is really fun to fill out my #OneNote setting with tons of links and ideas!
In the spirit of the #OSR, I love the idea that they can bounce around a dense environment while we find out what stories emerge!
