I have to run D&D in 15 minutes. I've been planning literally for months for this session. I spent the entire weekend working on terrain and minis. I was getting pretty excited.

Then one player canceled for a perfectly legitimate reason just a few hours ago. That completely ruined my mood, to the point where I don't even feel like running the thing any more.

We were supposed to play two weeks ago, but that got canceled when 2 players (including this one) couldn't make it.

It's becoming increasingly clear that I don't have "what it takes" to produce content on my own that anyone gives a damn about.

The only thing keeping me feeling the same way about my work for others is one comment (literally a single comment) from a stranger the other day.

Man, that stream was going so well. Then my computer hard-crashed.

Like, harder than I've ever seen it crash before.

I made that classic mistake: I had an opinion on the internet.

So, streaming still makes my computer work overtime, but if I have headphones on, I can't tell until I'm done.

Basically determined that I'd need about $1000 to put together a decent computer that does what I'd need it to do effectively.

I have no way of putting together that kind of extra money. Using my income from DriveThru and Patreon, it would take about three years.
