I don't know who needs to hear this but it is completely OK for you as an adult to buy yourself an advent calendar.
Any kind. Not just makeup or whiskey. You can buy a calendar with Spiderman toys if that's what you want. It's kind of the entire point of being an adult.

@TarkabarkaHolgy It's from a few years ago, I got old stock in a sale earlier in the year. Matt Smith era, but I kept it for Christmas because... Advent calendar..

I am such a nut for Advent calendars I source them all year and put them aside - hence my having a Matt Smith era Dr Who one... much cheaper than RRP
