I start off by declaring my unabashed love for blaseball, an online baseball simulator. Its absurdist, and weird, and fast paced, and just wonderful. It looks like they are taking a break to upgrade the system a bit and fix some bugs, but I look forward to its return. Stare Into the Sun!

Reading Entrails (Vegan): this is a #Initiative replacement for your favorite #ttrpg. At the start of conflict the GM ritually eviscerates A Gourd, Squash, Melon, or Cucumber and reads its remains to discern the future. Then each player grabs a hanful of seed without looking. Seeds are counted one is returned, and turns are taken in order of seeds from highest to lowest. When your seeds run out you cannot act. If everyone runs out you grab again.initiative bonuses add free seeds.
