I haven't seen much material written on what to do to make traveling more interesting outside of the wargame-ish "random encounters" that d&d players seems so intrigued with.

Anyone got anything to recommend?


@corvidae Perilous Wilds for Dungeon World has rules around finding "discoverys" (as opposed to "dangers) and you can roll on a series of very nice random tables. You're heavily encouraged to stop rolling on the tables when you have enough inspiration.

Sounds interesting, will have to check that out
