My ADHD has manifested all of my adult life, but it's been especially challenging the last few years. It got bad enough that I finally decided to take responsibility for myself and explore what was going on.

It's funny, but now that I look back at some of my life experiences, I see how ADHD shaped my interactions in work and in my personal life. I guess the best place to get started is to educate yourself- read, watch videos, have conversations with professionals

Identify how ADHD shapes your life, and acknowledge how it positively and negatively affects you. Some things you won't be able to change, but there are things you can do to make a difference.

I won't list anything, you can look it up yourself. Strategies, convos, medications, etc. work differently for different folks, and the only way to learn is to try diff. stuff yourself.

I have a ways to go, but I've seen small but noticeable improvements in my life.

Consider ADHD a long-term, chronic condition. It's something you'll have for the rest of your life, but there are steps to take to manage it effectively. And a lot of times, the strengths that come with it can be pretty awesome too!

Many people adapt to their ADHD without many negative issues. But if you're really struggling or also have other co-occurring issues, you owe it to yourself to get help. Before crisis is best, but I was motivated when💩hit the fan lol

Sending much love!
