Unlike my badly-prepared-for #ElectricBastionland one-shot last week, this week's less-than-perfectly-prepared-for #Shadowdark session went *great*!
I had apparently been prepared *enough* to give the party a number of fun combat encounters, and a suspenseful diving encounter where the PC kept failing their CON roll on the way back up, and thus surfaced with a single hit point!
Next up (and in fact tomorrow! 
): my first time running #DungeonWorld! also running for the first time!
Nope, my #DungeonWorld game is canceled for lack of players —not surprising around the holidays!
But my #Shadowdark success today is still buoying me above that disappointment.
