So I finished up revisions to Elf Pack for Chaosium at the start of the year and thought *whew*, because doing that on top of the Designers & Dragons work was a lot.
And then Mongoose contacted me and asked if I wanted to write a history of Traveller for them, from 1977 to the present.
So I ended up with a new (tertiary) project for 2022, and obviously going into 2023: This is Free Trader Beowulf. I'm really enjoying the research & writing so far!
@appelcline I'm an outsider to Traveller and your rundowns of it through various licenseholders in Designers & Dragons were great. Looking forward to seeing you expand on that!
@2ndLevelBard Thanks! The book is coming along lovely. I think it'll be a really nice expansion & throughline.
I've also been producing some new licensee histories for the next volumes of Designers & Dragons. I've written Paranoia Press & High Passage Group for Lost Histories I, and I'm planning next month to write about two of the modern licensees: Samarand for Lost Histories II and Independence Games for The '10s! They show a different take on "licensing".
