I got an answer from Bully Pulpit, for anyone interested.
Essentially, although a mission only *requires* a single Wayfind and a single Attack Run roll, it is permissible to make extras. While this is usually too risky to do on a live mission, it is a good idea in training.
(This still seems dangerous to me; the consequences of failure are just as bad mechanically in training as they are on a live mission, AFAICT, so there's still a strong incentive not to roll. But maybe that's the point!)
A #NightWitches question that maybe someone here can answer:
Given there are only three training missions, and each mission normally provokes a single Wayfind and a single Attack Run roll, is it not extremely hard for all the PC airwomen in the group to get the two successes (one of each roll) required to pass training? A group of three PCs would get only one shot at each!
Yet the FAQ says it's "vanishingly unlikely" you'll fail to get them: https://bullypulpitgames.com/games/night-witches/night-witches-faq/
What am I missing?
Absolutely OVER THE MOON to have an RPG dedicated to me ^___^ ❤️
The RPG is called Flotsam, it's a GMless and diceless game about space misfits, by Josh Fox @ Black Armada. It's really good, too! Get it here (or on Payhip and DriveThru): https://blackarmada.itch.io/flotsam-adrift-amongst-the-stars
I finally tried Cultist Simulator. It's super fun! I died of a second health catastrophe I could not prevent! (The first nixed my built-up health, so the second was the end of me.) This means next game I get to play the doctor that was treating me, unwittingly dragged into the hidden world by investigating my illness! Good times.
I bought a #Keyforge deck! Of course, I should have bought two! Oh well!
Seems like a fun game, from the tutorial videos I watched. My deck seems unreliable (too many actions, not enough creatures) but has some fun synergies when the right cards do come out.
So my chronically ill, non binary, asexual partner has started making the most adorable knitted animals and they're currently doing a pride range that include Bree the Biceratops, Tilly the Transceratops and Peter the Pansexual Stegosaurus. They'll be at #OpenSandwiches in #Manchester on Saturday at Nexus Art Cafe from 1930 and they have a Facebook page.
Please boost if you like them and think your followers would like them too!
I just found this site, Meeple Like Us, that does accessibility reviews of board games! 👍🏻 https://meeplelikeus.co.uk/game-of-thrones-the-card-game-second-edition-2015-accessibility-teardowm/
@paulczege oh yes
I've just been looking at Star Citizen, wondering if it's worth getting (or how soon it will be worth getting) given it's like seven years or whatever in development and still in Alpha stage.
On *next* quarter's roadmap is "playable female characters".
What?? Seven years of development and you can only play men??
I guess that answers my question.
@smolsnek Ooooo! I hadn't heard about this, will look into it :D
Only a few more hours! Back now!
