Games like Factorio, Zachtronics and, to a lesser extent, Terra Tech kind of gives me the same sense of creativeness as coding does. But they aren't as mentally exhausting since there are fewer fail states.

So whenever I don't have the energy to code, or do some shitty 3d-modelling, but still want to do something I usually play one of those games. πŸ™‚

What's the best exercise a storyteller can do to get better at improvising?... Outside of actually telling stories that is?

Anyone got anything to recommend?

I really need to find more accounts to follow if I'm going to be using mastodon more...

I really need to get around to creating the basis for the robot-roleplaying game I've been thinking about last couple of years.

I really want to have a system where the mechanical character development is expressed by in-game characters actions. Having a robot that can extend itself would really do that :)

Recently ordered and I'm really looking forward to it!

Currently working on a setting for a game. This will be the first "real" project I inititate as a GM.
Whitehack seems like a really nice system, I'm really looking forward to seeing how my magic hack for it works out, wanted it to be very free form but still have a lot of flexibility. But if anyone knows of more established hacks to OSR magic systems I'd love to hear about it.
