Anyone here reading "Think Like a Game Designer" by Justin Gary?
Thoughts on it?
I'm reading it now and quite enjoying it.

I'm blown away by your positive response to These Are Animals. I've now given it a permanent home as a free download on DriveThruRPG/RPGNow, which also means there's a space for reviews and comments--which I would welcome. It's here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/244973/These-are-animals
An RPG cover for you to use. If you make a game for it I will put your name on it instead of Doe Jay's name and you can use it.
[The #DoeJayChallenge is something you can do too. Make a cover you think might inspire someone to design its game and offer it like this.]
Oh, this is neat:
Looks like HeroQuest is getting a System Reference Document (SRD) and will be released under the OGL:
Really pleased to see Chaosium open this system up as I think it has some potential.
Honoured to be nominated for an Origins Award, for The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Munchausen 3e, along with everyone at FFG who worked on it, particularly my editor Tim Huckelbery and artist Omar Rayyan.

#AprilTTRPGMaker Day25: Being a TTRPG designer means...
...giving up a "real" job to do something not worth much money and unlikely to succeed, and hoping that maybe somehow it'll work out anyway?
Also learning respect for artists, who've lived this way all along. Props, y'all.

Hi, I'm Craig Maloney. I've dabbled in making RPG games as well as board and video games. I haven't published much of anything because I haven't completed anything yet.
I've started work on the Pepper&Carrot RPG but have been sidelined with other tasks:
(Part of the reason I got involved with P&C at all was for world-building. That turned into helping out with P&C in general)
I challenge ye, my dear fellow game makers, to answer my questions, on the corresponding day, this burgeoning April, and verily it shall be that ye shall be inspired by all makers around you and in this beautiful world henceforth. #AprilTTRPGMaker
