Thinking about my Dolphin Battle Dress.

At first I was thinking it would be tall and bipedal, to look kinda man like. But the more I think about it, I think the dolphins would design it to be more centaur like, four legged and “low” to the ground. Although probably still 1.5 meters tall, 3.5 meters long.

Something like this but anti-grav might make the most sense.

Grav tech starts at TL 10, my Dolphin Drop Dress is TL 12, so that should work.

She’s got a wafer jack, so some remote drones to pilot would be a good future investment.

@deinol crablike, multiple legs (origin influenced)

@gikiski @deinol Thinking about how they move in the water maybe almost isopod-like where their undulations can power the ripples through the legs. Also what if the suits can run along walls and ceilings, but rotate the dolphin so they're always the right way up inside?

@deinol seriously impressed with 0% man-like results

@deinol Might want to consider a 'flexible' sort of horizontal chassis that would accommodate wheels or even treads is they find the circumstances would warrant that usage.

Ultimately, with the dolphins' need for not only alternate movement, but enhanced senses (translate some form of video to their echolocation sense), the suit could be in just about any format or even have a complete remote operation mode where the driver stays back in their nice comfy quarters.

@deinol Use antigrav to fly thru the air. At worst case they might tolerate 4 legs to be "dolphins of the land" instead of "wolves of the sea", but flying's ideal.

@deinol Remember dolphins use sonar more than vision. The natural approach would be mapping sonar to radar or LiDAR. A dolphin might be able to process and control complex radar systems better than humans can.
