Hey writers!
I desperately need some good time related puns or quips I can dish out during a oneshot tonight - I'm playing a Tortle chronurgy wizard who is with his old friend (a harengon, lol) who are both here for a good time (not a long time - they are pretty old).

:mastodon: Mastodon tip: you can customize a column to list multiple hashtags (and block-list some of them too). It's a good way to discover all the posts gravitating around the topics you like (eg. for art, #mastoart is a popular one). That's really a feature I love here and wanted to share it to newcomers.

@ErikSheader or you could check out instances.social/ which has a lot more instances on them, but the ones shown on joinmastodon.org/ have met some standard criteria for keeping backups and being all up to date

@ErikSheader queer.party or tech.lgbt might be cool, for all kinds of art stuff, mastodon.art would be good. otherwise mastodon.online is a very general one so you get quite an Average Social Media Experience™️

gotta say, so cool to see how far masto's come since even 2017

@kleenestar massive respect to everyone who teaches game design! It feels so great to push people in the right direction and see them really engage and enjoy the practice

Am looking for some pointers , I use ScreenToGIF for promo stuff but the files always seem to turn out real big (between 3 to 5 seconds taking up 10s of MBs), so I have to either crunch down the framerate or massively downscale them and they get blurry.

Are there any general settings/tips I could use to get better GIFs?

Hello everyone.

Game design! I'm mostly video games based at the moment but 2020 onwards really has gotten me into TTRPGs and the board games design space as well.

Currently really loving Monster Of The Week and Blades In The Dark, have been struggling to find the style of game I like and by golly, thanks Dicebreaker and Outside Xbox for taking me down this rabbit hole.
