@kingu No, "All of the above" option, but I like fantasy, sci-fi, historical, AND modern, but all tinged with horror a bit. I don't actually care for MEDIEVAL fantasy though, because I feel it is both overplayed and largely devoid of interesting ideas these days.

@kingu I’m less comfortable in historical settings, where ample knowledge of the specific time period is required to stay in the setting. Fantasy or science-fiction are usually more relaxed thanks to entirely made-up settings.

@kingu mine preference is post apocalyptic recovery phase wherein science cannot be repaired so there is only building of things on a medieval scale. so what is it on the chart?

@kingu I feel like I might've separated things out differently... maybe Realistic (Historical/Modern/hard SF), Fantastical (Fantasy, Supers, genre sci-fi), Secretly Fantastical, or Other.
