For better or worse, it's really the only pathway that matches the speed with which bad-actors can operate. All of the brakes and rollbacks require much slower processes – processes that are so slow as to allow governance and guardrails to be razed long before the proverbial fire department has a chance to show up, get their hoses hooked to hydrants and start knocking down fires.
