is adding AI-powered assistance with their new “” service, and they’re updating the terms of service to give them access to support call recordings for training data. I’m very hesitant to do anything that assists AI-driven tools (I realize it’s becoming more and more difficult to actually avoid becoming training data), but I’ve been happy to do this volunteer work for many years now, and if it’s still providing a valuable service for people, I suppose I’ll stick with it.

I was wondering if others were digging into the privacy implications, but I couldn’t find any discussions online that weren’t just marveling at the technical capabilities of . So ultimately I’ll defer to the actual users of the platform who get use out of as an aid, and keep providing assistance wherever it’s warranted and desired. But I don’t know if I’ll ever truly get comfortable feeding AI training systems with human labor.
