Interesting insight! Could mean that the usual setting, familiar tables and chairs, familiar snacks and timing, were an element which complemented (or contrasted) the flavors of the game. I think it's a solid idea to start a new chapter in a new locale, or with a new player.
I've played Ironsworn while car-camping. Brought some pocketmod playing-card RPGs backpacking, but didn't play 'em.
@AlexGray HEIST_ACES is a #pocketmod playing-card #TTRPG I brought #backpacking, since I knew another hiker was packing cards. Draw cards for resources, draw cards for obstacles, play cards of like suit to spend resources overcoming obstacles.
