I've been looking forward to painting Zondara to cross-play in Warcry and Deth Wizards. Love her fluff from Warhammer Underworlds. I learned that her hair is super brittle, breaking while I cleaned the sprue joins. Debating how I'll work around the broken and soon to break hair.

Testing color scheme with this Vespid warrior. This model has the most open pose of all of them yet still has areas difficult to reach to paint properly.

Want to adapt the box art orange into a Staten Island theme (like the bright orange ferry boats with blue trim and lettering). Still figuring out where to paint the blue. Current thought is on the rigid frames of the wings. Thinking about the lower part of the abdomen or honeybee like banding top of abdomen. Open to suggestions.

Banshees I'm painting to test ethereal color schemes. First time I've used Speedpaints. Not digging them yet.

Had a weird experience today with the speedpaint flaking as I painted. I think it's because I didn't let the white paint underneath dry fully enough. If not, the speed paint somehow reactivated the white. That seems less likely than I didn't give enough time.

I may fall back to mixing medium into regular paint to get the ethereal effect. Takeaway for now is to slow down.

Sanson Farstrider has been patiently waiting for some gold base coating. I liked how his brown with white base coat looked so much that I kept putting it off while his compatriots are almost finished.

Motivator for giving Farstrider his gold is that the dropper bottles I ordered arrived so I mixed up my favorite gold recipe (4 drops Vallejo Metal Color Gold to 1 drop VMC Copper).

He was handy for testing.

Novitiate Sister Penitent. I wanted to mix in something new from the holiday gift archives as I'd been feeling burned out and it's my hobby to play as I want.

I've always been fond of models from the Ecclesiarchy.
