Hello there, #WritingCommunity. I did a thing for a friend. It was written as an idea came to me a month back. I'm finally posting it for others to read. If you're looking for a tale that's #LGBT+ / #LGBTQIA+ and you're a fan of #TheWitcher (and of vampiric society and relationships), this one's for you.

PSA: This one's a two-parter. The first part is now live.

Geralt and Regis bump into each other again quite by accident. A simple dancing lesson yields rather shocking results.

Got a mail today, latest chapter of the complicated Dorley Hall series is out (archiveofourown.org/works/3539) and that it was 40772 words long, this felt like a lot but I couldn't get Ao3 to spit out any stats on this. In the end between other things I knocked out a quick little script for printing the word counts then graphed it from there using goog sheets.

Yeah in fact its the longest.

The third story in my Sherlock Holmes series has arrived.

Here's my Holmes, if you're curious: agoodtuckering.tumblr.com/tagg

Following the events of the night prior, Sherlock Holmes makes a decision to call upon Miss Adler. There's no denying the truth of it all. The pair have already made their confessions.

A small teaser:

“He wasn’t wrong,” she added. “You /are/ a man, after all. And I am a woman.”

His head tilted, mind elsewhere as he replied. “You aren’t /a woman/, Irene. You are /the Woman/.”

I have the majority of a third installment for my Sherlock Holmes (the books, of course) series done. I also have a few chapters for various stories finished that need editing. (Things for The Witcher, Star Wars, etc.) Not to be forgotten, I also have a story ready for publishing that's from Hammer Horror's Dracula universe. It's something I definitely want to post soon for @therivercrow, so that's good motivation.

So much to do, so little time.

My aunt is coming over today, though, and she'll be spending the night. Everything will have to be finished tomorrow or Sunday.

Hey everyone! Jupiter sent me the PDF of their #AO3 presentation, and I made a little spot to host it. There are two links, both go to a PDF. The first is the entire presentation, and the second is the "reference notes". That's right. They made reference notes.

They were going to remove the "how not to traumatize mother," bit, but I thought it was so cute I lobbied to leave it in - also useful if, like me, you won't be into horror or n00d stuff.

Question for my fellow #fanfiction #writers:

I've recently moved from MS Word to #LibreOffice for #writing & I've found that the formatting goes haywire when copy-pasting into #AO3 as rich text. Sentences & words get split across lines & I have to manually fix them. I don't want to copy-paste as plaintext because I use italics that wouldn't carry over in that case.

Is there any particular font or formatting in the LO doc that can fix this problem or should I resign myself to manually fixing the html every time I upload a new chapter?
