@doggoblingames @birv2 Yeah, I backed Blueholme, and play it sometimes. He *finally* got the setting Brochure out.

It's a retro-clone of my favorite actual D&D version, but in practice it's too close to the original, no modern conveniences like ascending AC, unified saves. The playable species are buried in the monster list. It's *very* conservative compared to S&W.

"XP for Reported Treasure" – is a thing I will try out soon when I run Village of Hommlet in Blueholme (Holmes D&D).

Spend a turn (10mins) to inventory/sketch treasure in situ, then tell people about it when you return to town in exchange for experience points.

Treasure you bring back with you is just treasure.

This feels like it should work fine. I'll report back on how it goes.
