#BikerMiceFromMars

Okay, so I decided that after getting the Biker Mice figures (review here), that we live in the future and I'd be able to finally see the series after only ever seeing commercials.

Folks, I am laughing unreasonably hard at this and it's only a quarter in. Not because it's all that funny so far, but because the Biker Mice land in a baseball stadium and basically the first thing Vinnie does is save a hotdog vendor and get a free dog for his service. And he's like, "yeah, I've heard of these things, I'll try it," drives off, and then immediately comes back asking for Grey Poupon.

And I just lost it at that, because how the fuck does he know what Grey Poupon is? And then I lost it all over again because that shit was EVERYWHERE back then.

New blog post!

Let me preface this by saying I don't come at this as an actual fan of the show so much as someone who was a fan of the commercials. It aired in a time slot I wasn't able to watch except to catch the rare snippet when I was sick an... blog.bluestarcreations.net/blu

My childhood favorites part 2!

Here's a trio of #Bikermice relaunched by #nacellecompany as both new toys and new comics published by #OniPress

So far, I quite enjoy the #nacelleverse and I'm looking forward to #PowerLords.

Both Roboforce and Sectaurs are growing on me, I could add them to my to-draw list, nothing is set in stone right? Or maybe there is something? "Frozen in stone" even... But that's for another day!

The #BikerMice arrived from Big Bad Toy Store and OMG, they're better than I anticipated! The promotional material showed them all the same size with some bad Photoshop of pics taken at a high angle, but in-hand all of them are the correct height in relation to each other.

Efficiently packaged, too! I swear everything else I've gotten as of late has been a contest to see how much empty space you can have in a box. I opened the shipping box thinking maybe it was that Beast I've been waiting on and was surprised to see the three of them in there! Someone remembered what it used to look like to have toys fighting for placement on a store shelf! You don't even see that in STORES anymore!
