Sometimes the weight loss is just ~there~

I need to loose a bit more weight, still some belly fat flapping about. But for the last 8 or so months my weight has been stable. I know weight isn't the ultimate measurement. Stable weight but gains in other areas, pullups for example. Today during dance class I noticed, or rather didn't notice the fat under the shirt. It felt kinda awesome, that despite the scale I keep loosing

5 pm Main to Glenwood Boise River greenbelt report: 65° F and cloudy. About the same as this morning. I wore insulating tights both ways along with light gloves. I counted 3 bikes and 6 good dogs. Strava says I saved 2.33 kg CO2.

Photo is the brand new asphalt that was laid in record time once its previous state of disrepair killed a cyclist. This shows that 1) the City of Boise could have done this at any time over the past 10 years, 2) they chose not to, 3) somebody died because of it, 4) they know they are in deep shit. It hope it costs them 8 figures.

7:25 am Glenwood to Fairview Boise River greenbelt report: 64° F and smoky (AQI 151). I counted 4 bikes (one carrying a surfboard on a bracket), 3 good dogs, 1 deer on the river behind the fairgrounds, 1 heron. Strava says I saved 2.38 kg CO2.

The first photo is the former road volcano that killed a cyclist a couple of weeks ago. That dark red paint they use to mark the innumerable road defects really stands out, doesn’t it?

Boise City Parks & Rec try to blame the cyclist, telling us that we need to be constantly aware, always wear a helmet, and wear bright clothes, yada yada yada. Why don’t they just properly maintain their public facilities? You wouldn’t just abide this shit on a road for cars. I hope this one costs the city millions.

Yesterday, revisiting the gym for some elliptical. Fitness, yay!

So, where did they put the big fans? Certainly not anywhere close to the cardio machines, and so I spent about 46 minutes becoming progressively more saturated, and then drippingly so.

Today, well why not a photo of a recent (downgrade) acquisition of a Gaggia espresso machine and some manner of new fancy grinder and everything else needed - but which is otherwise still in storage. Welcome to the collection little one.
