#introduction

First off, yes, I spelled both Woolly and Mastodon wrong in my username. It's what happens when you make an account right before bed.

I'm into #humor, #hiking, #photography, #fountainpens, #halloween, #reading, #science, #churchofthesubgenius, #flyingspaghettimonster, #comics, my wife, my wife's #cats, #nonprofits, #journals, #sciencefiction, etc.

My purpose for this account is to have fun, learn new things, meet cool online people, and at times play at being cool too.

@Maeltopia as a teenager in the early '90s, I remember the first time I was exposed to #Bob and the #ChurchOfTheSubgenius. It was a TV channel with a logo that looked like a tombstone with an upside down triangle on it. I thought it was called "Network ONE".
in addition to #Subgenius propaganda, it also showed other things that fall under the #Weirdo umbrella like #BMovies.
It was the perfect channel for me.
It only lasted about two days.
I called the broadcaster to thank them for having such amazing content.
The person on the line was confused.
The channel was gone the next day.

I've never been able to find out where it came from or what it was really called.
