#Lore24 and #Asteanic_world

With last year’s #Dungeon23 │ #City23 still unfinished (don’t worry, it will be finished) I thought that it would be a great idea to take part in Lore24. I won’t be posting every day or even every week, but from time to time, as I will be working naturally with the lore of Asteanic World.

And what’s a better place to start with the lore of the Asteanic World than its history. So here is the first part translated just now:

So far the text bit has been easy - cause I typed each entry up already but the maps ... well that'll be a new trick for me as digital drawing isn't something I've dabbled in.

Felt rather weird not working on my #city23 / #dungeon23 today

Here are two slides of #bestnine2023 for 2023. Just work I want to remember for this year.

All done, heck of a journey to start with a blank journal and end with 53 spreads of a city.

Thanks to all who cheers me on. I won't be doing a city/dungeon24 but will be working on turning this year's into something.

To those doing a daily creative endeavor for 2024 be it a dungeon, a city, a hex crawl or what have you, I wish you much luck & hope for your success. My only advice is to stick with it & make the creative journey part of your day as quickly as you can.

Just finished #City23 journal. NPCs, gods and locations in a city that is a mix of cyberpunk, eldritch horror and low magic.

Excited to start 2024 with an personal world building art challenge, Super City 24 (see hashtag below). This is the start of a thread of all my posts, pinned to the top.

GOAL: To build a city of 4 neighborhoods/areas, 31 locations in January 2024 and then use in a solo RPG game. I did #city23 this year and found it super rewarding to make something then putting it to use.

Hiding in this still standing suburbia home is a runner's storage cache with 3 guns, 4 munitions, and 4 pieces of starting equipment.

A recently built shack hides nomads from the Wasteland (AS pg 28) who have brought an object of terror with them - a dirty bio-bomb which will kill all organics within 10-miles and is set to go off in 4-days.

Ruel Beach lies at the end of the river & loch. A large concrete barrier keeps the sand at bay & provides shelter to those in the beach.

What is #dungeon24 going to look like? I've seen #lore24 and other hashtags floating around ... hopefully folks keep going with what they've done in 2023
