Ich bin wieder mit ganz neuem Elan #BaristaVonBärland,¹ und ich hab nicht nur dem @Lapizistik einen Kaffee mit Herz und #Aromapups gemacht, sondern auch einen neuen #ColdBrew angesetzt, der gleich in den Kühlschrank kommt.

Von mir aus können wir jetzt los zur #DemokratieDemo, ich bin bereit!

¹ Das hab ich in den letzten paar Monaten fast gar nicht mehr gemacht, weil ich mit der reparierten Maschine nicht so gut zurecht komme.

Haven't made cold brew coffee in a looooong while - last time I tried in June 2024 a small pebble broke my grinder (fixed it a few days later). So today I decided it was time to do it again, using ~130g for 1 liter of water (my preferred ratio for cold brew, yours may differ and that's fine).

Coffee is a Catuai from Panama, more details in the alt text of the image.

Comprei um #café "especial" que não estava muito caro, não gostei muito do sabor. Agora fazendo por infusão à frio (#ColdBrew) fica bem tomável... (aumenta o teor de cafeína o que não sei se é bom ou mau).

Today a new season of The Science of Coffee started with an episode on cold brew. It makes clear there are flavours everyone misses out on if they only drink hot brewed coffee.

After listening to the episode, I packed my cold brew pitcher, filter, and beans so I can make some at work.

Experimenting a new mix for my newest cold brew dripper (coffee, yeah, coffee!!!!)
40% water
60% ice
and a drip every 2 seconds

I wasn't really satisfied with the chocolate infused beans so I used the vanilla infused mix again, this time coarse medium grounded
