I completely forgot about the Deep Rock Galactic anniversary event, so I'm going to complete it before going back to Helldivers 2.
The concept of the game is the same, but oh boy they are so different.
You can't spam meme "For freedom!" in H2 and I'm sure as hell that you don't get rich in that game. Karl is still MIA tho.
I spent a fair amount of the weekend playing Deep Rock Galactic with my partner, me as gunner, her as driller.
I definitely get the appeal.

For co-op gaming, my year was filled with games from years past that are still being cared for and expanded.
#DarkTide finally came out of alpha, has a good modding community, and is a wonderfully challenging and hard Left4Dead style game.
#DeepRockGalatic is the more accessible companion to Darktide and is great for family and friends who want to have a stress-free and fun time.
#Factorio and #Vallheim continue to be fun and a great place to hang out.

#DeepRockGalatic has a wonderful community for that.
Slowly getting back to my usual alarm (~ 6 AM) to get back into the usual circadian cycle, in time for my return to the office after this month of vacation.
Aside from that, this morning I'll get back working on my #owncast bot. In the afternoon I foresee chances of #gaming, #SeaOfStars and/or #DeepRockGalatic.
This #Monday morning will be somewhat difficult, given the fact I stayed up late playing #DeepRockGalatic yesterday night.
You can't ignore the Rock and Stone calling.
Today I'll probably edit a few videos and then set up the streaming equipment to catch #VR games as well. This is my *checks note* second week of vacation and I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest.

Positive reinforcement as a memeable button is a powerful thing. It's not exclusive to DRG, Killing Floor and Tribes:Ascend was the same and their communities were also very positive during it's heights. If you want to curb toxicity in your community, you need to make being a good person fun.
