On a Monday, I needed to do something a little more relaxing than chores and catching up on the news. Another find from my treasure hoard of images captured in Flagstaff last summer. The quest or battles of this decorative iron "drawing" seem to have different interpretations depending on what is going on in your world when you see it. My first thoughts went to Day of the Dead skeletons trying to outrun attacks. But then I wonder if the helmets and surreal images show Nazi villains. Your guess?

« She did not think she could bring herself to tell him. Many long seconds passed and her mouth refused to move.
"To save your life…I gave up my own. They have allowed me to take care of you, and to make sure that you will live." She sniffled. "When you are well enough…I will go with them, and they shall do with me as they please."
The breath rushed out of Xander’s lungs. His body began to shake violently. Suddenly, his back arched off the earthen floor and a long, blood-curdling scream ripped out of his body until blood welled in his mouth. Eirien sobbed bitterly.
The enraged man thrashed his body to the side. His hands reached and pulled, one at a time, as he dragged himself toward the door.
"No, Xander!" came Eirien’s cry.
She pulled at him in an attempt to keep him away from the door and away from them, but in a flash, Pelior loomed in the doorway. His eyes read the situation quickly and with too much ease he snatched up Eirien.
"No," she screamed, "Noooo!"
"That's enough," Pelior said decisively in an unfeeling way.
He began carrying the squirming and kicking woman toward the forest.
"Xander!"
The gaunt man with blood rolling down his chin growled and yelled. Pelior adjusted Eirien in his grasp; he turned her around to face him and slung her over his shoulder as if she were a mere pelt. Eirien kicked and fought but it did nothing. »

This was really interesting and horrifying to read. It makes me want to buy a $20 burner smart phone for online shopping with a VPN.

But even scarier than the price gouging stuff, how do I know that Rite Aid didn’t sell information about me they obtained from facial recognition software when I went into their store/pharmacy to the government? They know I’m disabled because I’m on Medicare and I’m younger than 65. My disability doesn’t involve my ability to walk around a store, but if yours does will Rite Aid tell the government that they have video of you walking for 10 minutes just fine? Will that mess with your disability review? Maybe, who would even know?
