D’autant que l’on touche là au cœur de l’identité de ce pouvoir. Depuis son arrivée à l’Élysée, et même avant, Emmanuel <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/Macron" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Macron</a> a beaucoup changé d’idée sur de nombreux sujets. Mais il est resté ferme et cohérent sur un point : celui du soutien indéfectible à la rentabilité du secteur privé. Aussi n’a-t-il jamais envisagé de remettre en cause ni les réformes du marché du travail ni la baisse de la fiscalité du capital, quand bien même les études d’évaluation doutaient de leur efficacité. Si on lit la réforme des retraites comme la poursuite de cette politique, on comprend mieux la <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/radicalit%C3%A9" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#radicalité</a> de l’exécutif : y renoncer, ce serait toucher à cette identité, autrement dit à sa seule vraie fonction politique. Il y a donc pour le macronisme un enjeu existentiel dans la réforme actuelle. Dans ce cadre, l’humiliation et la délégitimation du <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/mouvementSocial" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#mouvementSocial</a> représentent des formes indissociables de ce courant politique.
