The book presents several magic systems and how to build your own, it's a #HeroSystem game so you can build the characters to be anything you like, and the rules are action movie physics-ish enough that if a dragon gets hit by a steam locomotive you can figure out what happens without any handwaving.

In the Editions before it used to use a hex grid but not anymore, but older players and GMs still use the old lingo like "hits hex" 😉

Playing it is fairly straight forward as its a 3d6 system. Most challenges are done with a 3d6 roll aiming to get a low number.

Character Creation is fairly involved and crunchy and might not be for anyone, fair warning. But in return you get a very flexible system that is genre agnostic. It also requires more prep work for a GM at the start as it gives a lot of freedom and its up to the GM to keep things balanced.

There is a very friendly discord 🙂
https://discord.gg/HcUJvJH

The Website
https://www.herogames.com/

Lurker in Dorkness
So adding to a half-dozen other stresses, I may have to suddenly pick up the powered gauntlet and plan something on shortish notice for my #Champions fantasy campaign #HeroesOfKebbon. In addition to mocking up the graphics and planning for the next #iHunt game.

And again I stress, that’s not #FantasyHero. That is literally a medieval superhero campaign. Planning for this can get seriously weird. 2/2

It quickly saw an update following the revised rules for 3rd edition Champions.
