It has a rule where you create a mech that is fundamentally incompatible with your character; my players mentioned they could come up with a dozen mechs that would fit their character well, but seriously struggled to come up with one that is fundamentally incompatible. <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ttrpg</span></a></p>

I really love it for the most part. It pushes the <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/FitD" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>FitD</span></a> formula into cool new places and looks like it does the genre extremely well. For those wanting a campaign or one-shot to pick up off the shelf, the series playsets are also great. But I&#39;m feeling just a little frustrated that the book doesn&#39;t detail a framework for designing a series myself. It means some additional work to reverse engineer the formula.</p>
