So #LNER made sure I had time for a real 
espresso (and lovely #baklava @Lebanese place) at #YorkStation by organising a 20min signalling problem in #Doncaster. No worries, this us #England and not #France: there are departures to Harrogate every 30min throughout the day.

Thanks to #eurostar delay, no waiting in #KingsCross. Could check platform from #nationalRail live board, had QR code ready, the only thing was to jump above Mr FirstOut who had built a wall of suitcases at carriage door - then remember, twice to the right in #StPancras.

20 min delay "due to operational issues" in #Rotterdam
I have a 30-min connection between #StPancras and #KingsCross, could still work… Staff announced delay and went thru carriage, I could get a Railteam delay certificate (not sure it's valid for my #LNER train, but worked last time)

Next I'm staying overnight in #Lille. I need to be in #Harrogate midday tomorrow. #Flying from Lyon or #Geneva wouldn't have been better: starting from #Grenoble, not doable in a half day, so I'd have started today too and have had to stay in a more expensive hotel at destination tonight.

Day 1, took 1h earlier #Grenoble - #Lyon #TER as the scheduled connection time was 16 minutes. Seems I would have done it though :)
There's a later TGV today I could have taken if I had risked & missed, but would have had to handle the ticket change.

Not much progress today

For anyone coming to #Harrogate for #AireCon this weekend, you will be able to find me on the #AllRolledUp stand, which is L11.
We will have dice, gaming accessories, dice bags/rolls, RPGs and board games.
Plus, the event has a ton of traders, organised games, open gaming, an RPG zone, a Bring & Buy area, a Family Zone, and a bunch of street food vans.
And, looking outside now, there might be a bit of snow.
Walkers Are Welcome Town - Pateley Bridge
Yorkshire market town in Nidderdale AONB on Nidderdale Way and Six Dales Trail with an award winning high street (great butchers, tea shops, pubs, baker, etc). In the middle of the ‘Yorkshire Lake District’ and surrounded by great walks for all ages and abilities. Only 14 miles from Harrogate
This is #FountainsAbby in northern England, near #Harrogate. Taken in 2007. The Abby ruins and water course were amazing.
