Die große Enthüllung! :)

"The Latin translation of the Spagyric Papers by alchemist and gentleman Jabir ibn Hayyan was thought only to remain in three collections, the restricted section at the Vatican, guarded by armed troops at the Bardo in Tunis and in the first class borrowing collection of the SS Normandie
- loan ticket from the Steward after 7am weekdays"

This is from the Superquick HO scale model series. This is exactly the sort of thing that makes me think of a good two session horror ghost type of game and makes a nice bit of table litter for a convention.

Nothing worries players more than the utterly parochial.

Horror writers have been discussing the ubiquity of mobile phones in the world and how to "handle" that in their plots. What do we spooky gamers think about phones? I've honestly never had any trouble with phones spoiling occult modern games and I've never found that access to apps has affected a good scary story at all - I wonder though is that because I'm never antagonistic towards players and I (try) never to gatekeeper plot points for the sake of it.

As you'd expect my house is coming down with haunted dolls with their eyes blow torched off, but I've always liked paper engineering things, and I'd love to see this at a convention table for Generic Horror Game. The moment the GM unfurled it in the centre of the table... there's an element of classic paper horror, and also "haunted house motif" instantly.

The Mysterious Package company have done an escapey room version, but that's not really the same
