Dave Rahardja<p>Today I saw my first GMC <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/HummerEV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HummerEV</span></a> on the road.</p><p>I think it’s an abomination. A paragon of waste and excess, and distilled selfishness. 9000 lb of hubris and projection. It’s way too wide, and way too tall, and carries 2.5× the kinetic energy of any other vehicle traveling at the same speed.</p><p>It’s not as derisible as the <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/IncelCamino" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IncelCamino</span></a>, but it’s equally despicable in my eyes.</p><p>(Image is from Motor Authority article: <a href="https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1129566_2022-gmc-hummer-ev-price-specs-review-photos-info" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">motorauthority.com/news/112956</span><span class="invisible">6_2022-gmc-hummer-ev-price-specs-review-photos-info</span></a>)</p><p><a href="https://sfba.social/tags/cars" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cars</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/trucks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>trucks</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/ev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ev</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/suv" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>suv</span></a></p>
