The film "Le Mans" hit the cinemas 50 years ago, making Steve McQueen world-famous and the Porsche 917 an icon. The King of Cool’s on and off-screen lover was Elga Andersen - and her farewell gift following the end of the shoot was this elegant brown Porsche 911T from Switzerland.

The 1920s
The first 24 Hours of Le Mans race took place on 26 and 27 May 1923, on public roads around Le Mans. Originally the race was planned as a three-year event, with first prize awarded to the car that travelled the furthest distance over three consecutive 24-hour races. This idea was abandoned in 1928.
French, British and Italian drivers and cars dominated the early events, with Bugatti, Bentley and Alfa Romeo featuring prominently.

Ma copine et moi avont décidé de déménager de manière précipité courant aout. Nous voulons partir au #Mans. Nous devons y être le 28 septembre (préavis blabla)
Moi je sors d'étude et service civique, je n'ai donc pas d'emploi et pas de moyen d'avoir une promesse d'embauche facilement (j'attendais d'être sur place pour pouvoir chercher un emploi en physique), et ma copine va signer une promesse d'embauche dans peu de temps.
On galère a trouver un logement (toutes les agences nous refusent car nous n'avons pas tout 2 un CDI hors période d'essai ....... et disent que nos garants ne servent a rien car pas étudiant ..) -- ou on nous propose du 28m2 pour 534EUROS (ce qui est une énorme blague quand on sait que bcp de logement là bas sont à 10€ le m2 ..
On se prend vraiment l'arrivée dans le monde adulte non étudiant et ça fait tres mal. J'ai assez d'économie pour payer ma partie du loyer pdt 6 mois, ma copine va etre employé à 2200 euros brut, et nous avons jamais eu d'impayé, ça nous fait flipper ..
Bref nous cherchons minimum du 50m2 (préférence pour 60m2), un budget max de 700€, et un DPE minimum à D. +++ On aimerait un balcon ou jardin si possible et minimum un T2 mais c'est pas ça le plus urgent vu la situation. Si jamais vous avez des connaissances ou que vous partez de votre appart ou que vous voulez m'embaucher dans n'importe quoi je m'en fous ou je sais pas quelle autre miracle contactez moi svp TT--TT MERCI

After lunch, my son and I will be doing a Four Hours of Le Mans race! We will have fuel and tire management turned on and we will only switch driving when we pit.
We are going the race in Forza Motorsport on PC with Logitech G29 force feedback wheel and pedal setup.
