But I should not complain compared to many other geolocations! Funny thing my scale reported my "metabolic age" is now 4 years younger! 😆</p><p>This is the first time I ran 50+K on two consecutive Sundays (last Sunday I ran 35.28mi). Next Sunday? Unfortunately by the 25th mile I drank up all, and had to start walking some of the time to avoid overheating (walk 4min then run at least 5). For a few times I seriously considered asking for some water from bikers, but didn’t. Benjamin Han<p>2/n</p><p>Weather was super nice: temperature felt like 49F, sunny with scant clouds, wind 2.8mph W.</p><p>Last year I ran my 3rd <a href="https://sigmoid.social/tags/marathon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>marathon</span></a> race on this course and it was a disaster: spent quads at 16mi mark and lost a toenail due to half-size-too-big shoes. Plan vs execution:</p><p>1. 1st 6.6mi pace 8’10”/mi vs 6.66mi @ 8’04”<br>2. 2nd 6.5mi pace 7’50”/mi vs 6.49mi @ 7’52”.</p><p>Overall distance, time &amp; pace: 13.15mi, 1:44:46 @ 7'58"/mi.
