"An Indonesian or Malaysian satay with dry marinade (a rub?) containing cumin and no kecap. Not served with peanut sauce. Looking for recipe."

One of the best curry mee in Klang Valley IMO, dun have extra stuff like siham or siew yuk but the soup base is perfection But the shop is a bit hard to find since it’s hidden behind a large tree next to Jalan Reko. Also, the location can be a bit smelly cuz the area under the nearby flyover is sometimes used as a public toilet.

Recently I learnt that Murni Discovery from PJ SS2 has opened a branch in Bandar Baru Bangi @ Kajang AND Kajang’s famous Hong Kong Lat Thong pepper soup has opened a new branch in PJ SS2. Sort of like the two places I’ve lived in are exchanging their best food.

#RotiShack have taken over our kitchen this weekend and we're stoked. We love the food, especially this beef rendang.

Beer wise we have Moose River from #HopUnionBrewery and Fallen Tree from #TwistedOakBrewery on cask this weekend. A lovely drop they are too. And there's still some of our very own Itty Bitty Kitty hazy session IPA left too

Small Town Kopitiam @ Kajang

Simple but very satisfying meal of rice, curry pork and sunny-side-up with lots of wok hei. This shop caters mostly to students from New Era College and this particular stall gets really, really busy during dinner hours.
