We are protected by about 1030's worth of high pressure, meanwhile in the deep ocean there is a significant storm system at 971. Its probably not comming right at us. Our situation on tuesday is unchanged, the deep atlantic is pure soup. and, in great news, there is an weather over europe! the first mositure Poland has seen in like 38582 years, good luck to them!On wednesday our guardian high pressure zone has travelled far to the north, but at the same time, the 'front-soup' in the west has abated. (wet) bullet dodged? Thursday stays stable and stale, the soup is pressing into greenland but dosent seem to stand any chance that it will come for us. Friday seems to show some frontal activity pressing in from the north, i dont think this will come to anything, specifically because i am very suspicious of any forcasting this far in the future.Less relyabler sources say the droubt will break arround the 14th

Anita ByrneI’m now on the Limerick Junction to Cork train, which is full. The onboard reservation system isn’t working meaning everyone like me who got on at the junction and had seat numbers assigned online now have to find any seat available on any carriage as it’s now free seating. Some people are standing and an argument has arisen between a man and two women who technically are sitting in his seat but won’t move. Anita ByrneAs it’s the weekend there’s no ticket office open in Clonmel or Limerick Junction train stations and no ability to buy tickets onboard. The only way to purchase a ticket is online with a credit/debit card. This is both ageist, ableist and classist. Anita ByrneGetting a train from Clonmel to Cork. To drive, it takes approx. an hour. To train, it takes 2 hrs 30mins. I have to take two trains, changing at Limerick Junction. It’s costing me €25 return. To drive Clonmel to Waterford takes approx. 45 mins. To train takes 50 mins and costs €6 return. The difference is crazy! Ireland’s rail network outside Dublin is completely inefficient and so expensive. Despite 'hanging out near iceland' being the number 1 cause for synoptic structures to fall to bits, the high pressure survives and thrives on Saturday. There are a pair of somewhat significant low pressure systems in the mid north Atlantic hanging out near the Azores. Settled weather continuesOn Sunday, still no weather but the Spanish lows have united in a very messy way throwing lots of fronts out over the ocean. Continental europe remains weather free.Come monday the high pressure is right on us for the first time in a while. The spanish system is just a prodigious mess of fronts and rain - it wont bother us, but its literally the only other thing happening in the atlantic.Come tuesday and the end of my watch our high pressure, which started at 1038, is down to 1034 and honestly, dosent look to be going anywhere. Poor weather for plants.
