That Deaf Guy<p>Just watched this, it's hard going. Knew the main character was dealing with trauma almost straight away. Every single family character was to blame.</p><p>Main character has manifested grief after finding her mother dead, none of them have sought to get the main character professional help & counselling. They just shrug. Character's son is 22 years old overweight and it's hinted at that he hasnt had a good education. "He's 22, he's a grown arsed adult", yes but his mum, main character, is impossible to live with in her state, he has completely shut down into his own worlds.</p><p>The audience were laughing, I didn't, I was frustrated and sat in disbelief that the main character was not being helped by her family. Each main family character is flawed and, again, each of them were to blame.</p><p><a href="https://beige.party/tags/MikeLeigh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MikeLeigh</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/HardTruths" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HardTruths</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/WhatToWatch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WhatToWatch</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/Movie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Movie</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/Film" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Film</span></a> <a href="https://beige.party/tags/Cinema" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Cinema</span></a></p>
