Aussichtspunkt Niesenbänkli in Ringoldswil um 4 Uhr morgens. Es war kalt und ich habe 2-3 Stunden an der gleichen Stelle die Milchstrasse fotografiert, wunderte mich, dass die Sicht durch die Kamera immer trüber wurde, bis ich feststellte, dass sich Raureif auf der Linse gebildet hatte.

Ein Flugplatz in den Dünen. Der Tower ist dunkel und verlassen. Hier ist kein Betrieb in der Nacht. Im Winter muss die Start- und Landebahn mit Absperrungen vor Robbenkolonien geschützt werden, damit sich die Tiere nicht auf die Bahn legen. Kleine niedliche Insel du.

An airfield in the dunes. The tower is dark and deserted. There is no activity here at night. In winter, the runway must be protected from seal colonies with barriers to keep the animals from lying down on the runway. Small cute island!

ANKUNFT
ARRIVAL

Es sollen ja wirklich mehr erdähnliche Planeten geben als wir immer dachten. Auch unsere Milchstrasse soll es schon viel länger geben, als wir immer dachten.
Der Schriftzug "Ankunft" der an dem Tower des Helgoländer Flughafens steht, ist in diesem Zusammenhang irgendwie passend. Na ja, wir werden sehen.

There should be really more earthlike planets than we always thought. Also our Milky Way is supposed to exist much longer than we always thought.
The lettering "Arrival" which stands at the tower of the Helgoland airport is somehow fitting in this context. Well, we will see.

Mitten in den Dünen befindet sich ein kleiner Flughafen. Im Tower ist eine kleine Notbeleuchtung an. Nachts ist dort kein Betrieb. Da ist also wirklich gar niemend. Na ja, bis auf den Sternekucker mit Kamera vielleicht. In the middle of the dunes is a small airport. There is a small emergency light on in the tower. There is no activity there at night. So there is really no one there. Well, except for the stargazer with camera maybe.

Ein weiteres Bild aus meiner Leuchtturmserie mit Milchstrasse und einem Teil ihres galaktischen Zentrums. Sechzehn Fotos übereinander gelegt reduzieren das Bildrauschen und ein Glas Rum in den Dünen versüßt die Wartezeit.

Another image from my lighthouse series with Milky Way and a part of its galactic center. Sixteen photos superimposed reduce the image noise and a glass of rum in the dunes sweetens the waiting time.
