Watched Sin Takes A Holiday. Wife and I had the same two reactions: “Hope she doesn’t get with him” & “Men are trash”. Cinematography is really sweet in skating and dance scenes and wordplay is cute for 1930. Enjoyed it despite hating the cultural stuff and feeling like it betrayed me.

Watched The Deadly Companions. The script left me befuddled about the motivations of nearly all the characters, but the acting was great. Lots of SA that is very gross, but Cochran steals every scene he’s in, alongside Martin’s gross sidekick energy.
