In my fun making a fully pauper commander deck, there has been a major update: a new commander! Is it good now? Fuck no! Does it cost less than the last one and feel more thematic? Yeah!

Will I be the only person to probably ever run a Sivitri Scarzam deck in the history of Magic? Probably!

I've still been working on a pure pauper commander deck (even using a common commander, there are so few to choose from) and have finally figured out what I want to run and it's really damn evil.

Like, there's a combo that wipes the entire table at once and causes a four way draw levels of evil.

Don't worry though! That's just my side strategy in case I can't actually win. :neocat_googly_shocked:

Fun times at the weekly Magic meetup tonight. We ran our first Dragonstorm draft, and I got to run a pretty fun/durdly Temur value deck.

Hit the rough end of variance along a few different axes, so only ended up 1-2, but still some fun interesting games!

I wonder what the most popular #MTG pre-releases of all time have been. Dragonstorm has gotta be up there, right? I heard stores were sold out around the world.

I'd guess other popular pre-releases were probably for returning planes like Ravnica. Or maybe some of the mirroden/phyrexian storyline? And I know original Zendikar was one of the all time favorite planes, partially due to priceless treasures. But I started playing in shops ar RTR so don't know the earlier meta.
