Andrew Flenniken Photography<p>Another shot from my drive up to the North Cascades two weeks ago. Andrew Flenniken Photography<p>This peak is called Elephant Butte, and I do indeed love it. From a certain spot on Highway 20 in the North Cascades National Park you get this view: the angular peak of Elephant Butte above, mirrored by the angle below where the sides of the valley meet.</p><p>If you love it too, it could be yours! I've added it to the print store and it's ready to ship. The road and trail system was closed (MBNF) due to fires, but is now open. The Pass is in the park but needs to be accessed via the NF. Very busy (people were let out :-). Foggy, windy, and fall is coming.</p>

valkraider :verified:<p>America the Beautiful.</p><p>Did the North Cascades scenic byway loop in our electric Volvo.
