Cazimodo Creative<p>Good morning everyone 🌻 I am up early with the parrots this morning, who are munching away happily after a nice little cuddle with Ziggy, who I had to chase around the room for a bit, because she had a bit of cotton string stuck in her beak and hanging out like a waving flag. She has a shelf under her main beak, which is down to her flying into the window and damaging her beak when we first got her, and sometimes when she chews her preening arch things can get hooked on there. Trying to get Ziggy to sit still for two seconds while you try to remove the stuck thing is another thing altogether ☺️ And my poor fingers are aching from the pressure bites!</p><p>We have a cleaning crew coming in to do a deep clean of the house today. We do our best, but with the ME it's hard to keep on top of things. Cazimodo Creative<p>I have had an excellent day. I made fresh chop for the parrots and sorted out their dried food for a week. Then I did the washing and hung it outside and did a bit of work on the crochet orders and watched some 9-1-1. Finally, I backed up all the data on an old Windows 10 gaming laptop (something I have been meaning to do for ages now), wiped it, and installed Pop Os. Cazimodo Creative<p>Good morning everyone from your friendly Upstairs Ninja 🌞 Grant kindly got up for the parrots again today as I was really pooped after all the stress of work yesterday. It also allowed me to play a bit of BG3 last night and work out some frustrations 😉 All quiet on the feathered front at the moment after some pretty indignant screeching by her Zigginess earlier when Grant was just that wee bit too slow with her breakfast 😂 She went into roost last night without a fight, but she was extremely cuddly again, just wanting to sit tucked up on my chest for ages and chasing Toby when he got too close for her liking. Poor Toby gets chased by both the girls, despite him being so much larger than they are. He just takes it all in his stride, and nothing stops him from just trying again. Cazimodo Creative<p>Good morning everyone 🌻 I'm playing Upstairs Ninja again today and all is very quiet downstairs as they all snooze away after breakfast 😊 I did hear a very brief spell of yelling from Ziggy, but nothing to keep me awake for very long. She wasn't for going in to roost again last night, too happy just to cuddle up with me. By the time I eventually persuaded her to go in the other two had already finished their dinner and we're asking to be put to bed. Cazimodo Creative<p>Good morning Fellow Travellers around the Sun 🌞 I'm up with the parrots today and have just finished an extra cuddly Ziggy cuddle session. She finally took her medication today when I realised that she has been objecting to having it fed to her by my right hand and having to sit on my left arm to reach it. I figured this out, because she was nipping my left arm pretty hard and giving me side-eye. So I switched to my left hand with her on my right, and she took it no bother. Sometimes this human can be a bit dim and take a while to work out dinosaur language, but I get there eventually 😂</p><p>I had a crochet order come in last night, so I'll start on that today and also package up the competition toy for it's journey. Speaking of which, my "Another trip around the Sun" day is coming up soon and I'll be running a new competition to celebrate. Cazimodo Creative<p>Good morning everyone ☀️ Long lie for me today, and boy did I need it after my trip out yesterday. I zonked out as soon as my head hit the pillow and only woke up about half an hour ago! I'm sitting with the parrots now, and Grant, who is still snoozing. We have Classic FM Calm on and the only other sounds are those of the air filter and Toby munching - little moments of peace like these are the best 😊</p><p>I plan to finish the competition toy today and then maybe do some gaming. Cazimodo Creative<p>Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm 🌌 Another long cuddle with Ziggy this morning, who's just so cuddly at the moment ☺️ Yesterday evening when I put her in to roost I had to take a sudden call and she raised hell when I left the room, then when I came back she paced up and down at the bottom of her cage in the gap beneath her blackout cover yelling "Come! Come!" at me and refusing to settle. Eventually I went over and lifted the cover; she climbed up to her perch and I realised we hadn't exchanged the usual goodnight air kisses. As soon as we did that she settled right down and grumbled off to sleep as normal. Wee soul. 🥰</p><p>I'm going out with my daughter today to her local Emporium of Wonderful Things to look for some furniture, and then go to lunch. Cazimodo Creative<p>I'm up with the parrots this morning and have not long put Ziggy in for her breakfast after a very long and sleepy cuddle session with her this morning, although she did break off from time to time to tell me "Uh uh uh!" and throw my phone to the floor whenever she thought I wasn't entirely focussed on her 😊 I think I've figured out why I woke up with a black eye (in the corner where the tear duct is) yesterday morning. Toby does this thing where he sort of pauses, then suddenly bonks the top of his beak hard on things - the floor, the wall...and my eye as I now recall. A heavyweight boxer punch is nothing compared to an Eclectus beak bonk 😂</p><p>Still quiet on the crochet orders front and *still* waiting for safety eyes to arrive so I can finish the competition toy, so I may game again today once Parrot Kitchen is done.
